Comprehensive Support for Employers and Training Providers
Our support package helps employers and training providers meet the unique needs of learners with learning differences, disabilities, and mental health challenges. We focus on improving the apprenticeship experience by making it more accessible and increasing completion rates. We provide ongoing support, giving learners the skills they need to succeed in their apprenticeships and future careers.
We work closely with employers and training providers to strengthen their support systems. Our services offer custom, continuous support for apprentices.
Initial Learning Needs Assessment
Our assessment starts with a neurodiversity screening. Then, a SpLD (Specific Learning Difficulties) Assessor meets with the learner. This process identifies strengths, challenges, and study needs. We consider neurodivergent traits like Dyslexia, ADHD, Autism, Dyspraxia, Dyscalculia, and communication issues. We also assess the impact of mental and physical health on learning.
Expert Support Workers
We match each apprentice with a dedicated support worker who provides 1:1 guidance throughout their apprenticeship. These sessions focus on academic and wellbeing support, helping apprentices balance work and life. Our support workers help learners reach their goals and develop essential skills.
Our support workers receive continuous training to stay current with the latest research and best practices. This ensures they provide the most effective support possible.
Support Roles
We offer weekly 1-hour sessions with a support worker, delivered remotely. The frequency of these sessions depends on the learner's needs, which we identify during their initial assessment.
Our Support Services Include:
- Initial Learning Needs Assessment: We begin by identifying each learner's needs.
- Tailored Support Plans: We provide recommendations and accommodations.
- Personalised Learning Plan: Each learner gets a plan designed for their success.
- 1:1 Mentoring or Tutoring: We offer individual mentoring or support for study skills.
- Regular Progress Reviews: We check in at one, three, and six months to track progress.
Our goal is to help apprentices overcome challenges and complete their apprenticeships successfully.
